Apple have revealed that the next version of their mobile Safari browser will be super-efficient at blocking ads. The software giant announced that they support third-party adblocking extensions and will grant them a “fast and efficient way to block cookies, images, resources, pop-ups, and other content.”
This is great news for browsers, but not so much for advertisers and patrons of PPC. Mashable’s Patrick Kulp discusses how this new system will work and how serious the fallout will be for those on the business end of online ads.

Digital marketing specialist, Samuel Scott published a controversial article on the $7.5 billion ‘fraud’ in online advertising.
In his trending article, published by Moz, Scott investigates claims that nearly 50% of paid online advertisements never appear in front of live human beings and that Ad networks knowingly sell bot traffic to publishers and publishers knowingly buy the bot traffic because “the resulting ad impressions earn both of them money—at the expense of the clients who are paying for the impressions”.
