Our founder is a digital marketing expert, writer and speaker who is fanatical about helping business owners and marketing managers hit their revenue goals.

With 10 years' experience working in big corporates (NAB, Woolworths, Lion Nathan, HSBC) and 14 years running a digital marketing consultancy, Philip now combines his business skills with his entrepreneurial passion to bring the best of both worlds to his clients.

When Philip isn't behind a laptop or learning new growth strategies at a conference, you’ll find him training for a triathlon, kickboxing or chasing adventure on his mountain bike.

Lara De Angeli

General Manager

Lara has worked in the digital marketing industry for over 20 years. Having moved to London from Johannesburg in 1997, she started off her career in marketing & communications.

She worked within the Operations and Project Services team on national and international brands, such as; Jaguar Cars, Bentley Motors, Aston Martin, Bowers & Wilkins, Sony Playstation, P&G and British Airways.

Lara decided to move back to her South African roots in 2009 and has been focused on the operational side of the business.

When Lara isn't leading and managing the team, she'll be on the golf course trying to lower her handicap, tasting wines to expand her Sommelier repertoire or travelling to other countries, soaking up the different cultures.

Ireyan Weber

Head Of Client Results

Ireyan started in digital marketing more than 9 years ago, learning the ways of SEO & PPC from some of the best in the biz in South Africa.He is responsible for ensuring all client’s receive positive results and high quality deliverables.

It's all about client sales figures for him, and being as dynamic as possible when planning out client work to make absolutely sure those figures keep heading upward.

Down time consists of enjoying the F1 and a beer with friends, working on his golf swing or dabbling in online gaming.

Nicole Louw

Head of UX

Nicole is the swiss army knife in our armoury with being skilled in design, front-end development, link building strategies, SEO, and more.

Her main focus is using her diverse skills to design and develop usability features that will convert users on our clients websites into customers - ultimately growing revenue opportunities.

When Nicole is not surfing her keyboard for work purposes she is expanding her armoury of skills, learning pixel design, game development, sharpening her JavaScript skills, learning video editing, animation, amongst other things.

Phil Smulian

Senior Web Developer

Phil (AKA Smully) has 15 years experience in the industry, concentrated in both digital marketing and full-stack web development.

Smully has designed and built a multitude of websites and custom functionality on his own, as well as run a variety of marketing strategies for a range of clients from small local businesses to large NGOs. Smully enjoys helping clients interpret the complex digital challenges upon which they need, to make regular important decisions, and helping them manifest their marketing ideas on the web.

When he's not solving client problems, he'll be testing out a Gordon Ramsay recipe, trying out new coding frameworks or watching the waves break beneath Misty Cliffs in the South of Cape Town.

Rhys John

Head of PPC & Senior Strategist

Rhys is an SEO and PPC Expert with more than ten years' experience in the industry.

He started off honing his skills in the travel industry as a writer. He then developed a love for digital and soon moved away from writing into SEO and PPC, after discovering a passion for helping businesses succeed online. He's worked with large companies in South Africa and abroad.

When not testing new ideas and helping businesses reap the joy of digital, you will find him cruising around the coastline on his Datsun or at the gym throwing a few plates around.

Naeem Dollie

Senior Strategist

Naeem has over 15 years of experience in the industry, with a primary focus on all things SEO.

He has a deep passion for the ever-changing industry and has worked with many teams and departments over the years. He is laser-focused on getting clients maximum exposure in Google’s local pack and increasing leads from clients’ google my business profiles. On top of that, he does onpage work to ensure that clients’ websites have the best chance of dominating the top positions in search results. And just because he's a notorious over-achiever, he shines in the Google Ads department as well!

When he's not in front of his laptop, he's a family man trying to be the best dad to two young kids. He loves watching and playing (almost) any sport. During the week he plays five-a-side footy for a league team.

Jason Bell

Digital Marketing Strategist 

Jason is our SEO strategist and account manager.

Starting as an intern - He has grown in all aspects on SEO, evolving and upskilling his knowledge everyday to constantly keep up with the ever-changing world of digital marketing. His focus has been on link-building, with assistance in various other areas of onpage, local, UX and PPC. He has recently acquired his own client and ensure's to strategise the highest quality of work to produce results for his client.

When the weekend arises, you'll find him either enjoying a multitude of sports, mainly Formula 1 and UFC, running along the boardwalk or cooking up a storm in the kitchen.
