The more you know about digital marketing, the more you might realise just how little you really know.
But that’s what makes the world of digital marketing so exciting: it’s ever-changing, and always expanding, which is why we at CleverClicks set aside half a day of learning every week. This allows us the opportunity to constantly learn new things, and improve our digital marketing skills. And what better way to do this than on a digital platform?
But as you know, the internet is a never-ending black hole of data with countless online courses that may claim to be the best of them all.
So we’ve compiled a list of online classes that we can vouch for (free, as well as paid), in order to take your digital marketing skills to the next level. For each class, we’ll specify which areas of digital marketing it focuses on (such as SEO, content marketing etc), and a brief description of what you can expect.
1. QuickSprout (free)
Categories
- SEO
- Link Building
- Content Marketing
- Social Media
- Paid Advertising
What you need to know
QuickSprout is extremely user-friendly, making it really easy to find the class that’s perfect for you and your level of knowledge. This isn’t exactly a course per se, since there aren’t any tests or certificates of completion.
Each category of digital marketing simply comes with a series of short video tutorials (about 5-10 minutes each) which are very informative and great for improving your knowledge in that category. There’s no enrollment, and no login. You can start whenever you want, hassle-free.
The man behind QuickSprout, Neil Patel, is a digital marketing genius. We definitely recommend checking out his blog as well.
Pricing
Quicksprout University, as they call it, is completely free. You can come and go as you please without spending a dime.
2. PPC Hero Guides (free)

What you need to know
PPC Hero has a great range of guides discussing everything and anything PPC. They’re a really great resource for digital marketers who already know a thing or two, but are looking to improve their skills even more.
They also have a really great blog which is worth checking out.
Pricing
- The guides are freely available for all to access and learn from.
3. Moz (free & paid)

What you need to know
Moz is our number 1 learning resource here at CleverClicks. They offer a range of free beginner-guides which are perfect for anyone new to the industry.
Then there’s Udemy’s SEO training course by Moz, which covers everything SEO. Enrollment is quick and easy, giving you access to an expertly structured curriculum consisting of 18 online lectures spanning 3.5 hours.
Moz also offers some really great workshops and training courses at a reasonable price, which you can check out here. They span about 2 hours long, and are lead by experts in the industry.
Philip Shaw, the CEO here at CleverClicks, has even been to the Mozcon Conference in Seattle, and can’t speak highly enough about the amazing speakers, great content and practical all-round experience.
But if you can’t make the trip to MozCon, then the Advanced SEO Webinars by Moz is another great option. They offer a 9 hour course, split up into 3 sessions (this optoin is a bit more pricy than the others).
There’s really so much offered by Moz; more than can be mentioned in this post. So be sure to check out their page to find exactly what suits you best.

5. Cardinal Path (paid)

What you need to know
This course is very different to the others mentioned, since their online training courses are live, led by certified instructors who are experts in their field. Most courses take place over a single day, and usually span about 2-3 hours.
They actually restrict the number of people allowed to enroll in order to maintain the feel of an intimate online classroom, where each participant can get maximum attention.
Our CEO, Philip Shaw, has taken one of their face-to-face courses, and he can’t emphasise enough how much he benefited from it.
You can see all the courses available with their prices here.
Pricing
Live online courses: $200 – $500
6. Market Motive (paid)

You can check out their course options here.

There’s bound to be some other good ones, but these are the online courses that we swear by.

Happy learning!
